COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

  2. Oh Wow, found you via Character Design Blog. Your stuff is really awsome, specially how you do up finished lines, so different from the clean hard edged look, got me hooked on it.

  4. Florian, this is the craziest design yet! I love the kooky airplane with its adversarial jagged blandishments. The "Dark Duck" rocks beyond deathmetal!!!!!!!....or blackmetal in this case.

I'm staggered at how you can dream up these ideas so much!

  5. Just found your blog thru a friend's recommendation ... HOLY CARP. Some of the most awesome character design I've seen.

I wanted to comment, but I see Nick beat me to the punch ... I love the rough cleanup style you have ... it's so sketchy, yet by the time it's finished and colored it all looks 100% professional. Definitely will keep an eye on you for inspiration.
