COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

2Q3: Caspar Haidenstaadt, The Little One

And while I was at it, ...

I'm in my blue period. Definitively.
Well, seen as a building block - in the abstract - I'm in a red period, but that's a whole new ball game.

  1. I don't know what to say. Something about those loose lines make your work impossible to resist.

  2. Now that's what I call a BIG gun! Absolutely wonderful!

I maybe wrong, but I think the blue is definely of another kind than in the posts before ;)

  3. Let me guess. He requires some sort of weight buttressed by that hook behind him to help carry the weapon, which, perchance, is larger than he. However, he needs something for that hook to latch onto if he needs to shift the weight of the gun, so maybe he latches it onto himself! So every time he hoists the gun, he has to hoist his butt......wait.......

    Awesome picture anyway!!!!!

  11. Derek, Oliver, Richard G., Richard O., Juampa, Herbie, Ryan, Flaviano, Joern, Tim, THANK YOU! MANY THANKS!

Joern, what I had in mind designing it, was a big trombone or bass tuba. If I remember rightly.

Due to a high workload I will be blogging less frequently, for the next two or three weeks. So my blog will get a bit slow.
