Buck In The Tree

I did (am still doing) a lot of concept work for HF Recalibrated. I titled this piece "Mississippi Afternoon Smoothy". (Dear me, Ryan's dead right. I'm posting like a mad man.)

  1. yes ! i am in your blog for the first time ! it's really cute here. I think of meaning seeing from time to time

  2. I LOVE the mood of this.

As Sam Nielson said before: I want to see an animated feature of it. NOW!!!

  3. I am always overwhelmed at the beauty of your work every time I come here. And you're right... you do post like a madman....I can't keep up.

  4. This guy's great, and I love the design of the trees and background too. Great-looking image.

  5. wow! a lot of great character on the last months. love the Huck Finn series and so much love the way you draw the tree in this one.

  6. As an ex-Disney guy myself I have to say "All right, all ready!" I need a book of your work - where and how can I get your works in print? The stuff I see here every visit has me aching for a collection I can have on my desk while I work. If you don't have one out yet - get to it!
Maybe you could put one out through Brand Studio Press - they do fine books.

In the mean time please keep posting. Your stuff is gorgeous.

  7. Sagte ich bereits, das du zu schnell postest? Man kommt mit dem schreiben nicht nach. I always wonder how you make it look so spontanious and easy ... perhaps you are spontanious and easy. Greetings

  8. Hehehe,...
    Love it.
    The simplicity of the tree
bark is great and so effective.
    Awesome as usual.

  9. wow!! what an interesting background! i really love the colour too! gives it an eerie, yet soft and cozy atmosphere to it. love your work!

  10. Wow Florian, this work is amazing! The duck´s actitude is so funny drinking that soda. Love your concept art as always.

If you have some minutes I´ll love to see you at my blog and hear some advices. I totaly admire you!
