Rough Bird

Rough drawing from yesterday's meeting... Btw, need some inspiration? Try booting your day from Pascal Campion's blog!

  1. By any means, I dig the roughs more than the finals... that's not to say I'm not impressed by the finals ;)

  2. I love your blog so much inspiration and continuity.

  3. Looks great, but I think your pencil rolled into the picture as you were taking it haha just kidding, awesome stuff!

  4. May I know why you always sketch with blue pencil and then trace it with the black one?
I was curious, because your final artwork are amazing!^_^

  5. I love your roughs too! Very smooth and alive

  6. hehe very cool, when i saw the "text text, text" I almost expected him to be holding some kinda wacky cell phone invention of yours

Keep up the good work ^^

  7. Derek! I wish I could leave the roughs rough... :)

    Yahya, thanks! :))

Todd, haha, right, it seems that I'm working on a seesawing boat :) Thanks!

Sandal, it works like an "analog layer system". The blue lines can easily be faded away in Photoshop or the like...

Joonas, thanks! Cheers to Helsinki! I've to come back, sometime...

    Claude :) Thank you!

Jon, I was indeed thinking about some kind of wacky toy for this bird... Cheers!
