COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

Rough Sketch; Pixel 5, Party & Conference Pics

The first time ever that a bear launched a self-built satellite into orbit...

---
Update: Here are some snapshots of the Pixel Party. Top left is Jakob Schuh (co-director of "The Gruffalo", Studio Soi), top right Harald Siepermann (with whom I had way too much red wine), bottom left Saschka Unseld ("Toy Story 3", Pixar) who btw couldn't resist joining in the Pixel Battle game. The party, hosted right at the studio site of Vienna based CG power house Friendly Fire, was a really fun and hilarious get together. We got back to the hotel at about 5am :)

I guess, besides Nemoland in Florence, the Pixel is – in its category – one of the finest, warm and friendly festivals what we have here in Europe.

Here are some gems from the actual show: © Staber/Pixel
