Rough Artwork

This is a rough visdev piece out of a stack of early concept sheets for Toby Skybuckle©. This gives btw nothing away. I won't do any spoilers here. It's just a wild rough sketch with no relevance for the story...

  1. I really love it when you post the unfinished, just messing around stuff. Sometimes I think I like the freedom of the development sketches better than the final piece. I'm not slamming your final pieces. I just really like the roughs.

  2. I like the roughs, you can see how you think when you are drawing!
    Thats amazing and instructive/informative.
But, I would be great to see finished work as well.
So we can see and feel the look of Toby Skybuckle and StarDucks.
    I become impatient! :-)

  3. Richard! Thanks for the lovely feedback, I'm glad to hear that! Cheers!

Anonymous, thank you, too! At the moment I'm not allowed to show some finished stuff or about what Toby Skybuckle is about generally. We all will have to wait for this year's CTN Expo and then Angouleme where TS will be released officially by Ankama Editions. Sorry :)

  4. No problem my friend!
I'm happy with every post you make!
Now we know when and where we can expecting Toby Skybuckle and friends

    cheers to that!

  5. It's amazing the feeling that cames through the lines! Fantastic!

  6. oh yes, I agree with Richard, also find this rough sketch beautiful and interesting.

  7. Wow! So we have a realase date for TS! Can't wait for Anguoleme 2012!!

I'm a great fan of your work... and now I MUST come to Anguoleme!

  8. Anonymous, cheers!
