MB Motorsuit, Mod. Roadrunner

They have fun, haven't they? Anyways, besides my love for everything Franquin, especially for his weird machines and rides, I've a passion for Maurice Noble's background art and layout designs. One can see that here pretty good, no? By the by, Happy Birthday Cartoon Brew!

I did the rough sketch of this on my hotel room at the CTN Expo last November - look at the googles the birds wear, they're definitely heading for the upcoming Animation Week in Burbank, aren't they? ;)

  5. That's sooo cool! - Love the roadrunner machine pose - and a nice little detail with the duck looking straight into the cam. It's so nice to see your characters with backgrounds!

  10. Before I even saw the writing I thought Maurice Noble. Whats great about your work is that your able to put together your influences and make somthing new.More art directors should do that for todays cartoons.
