L.W. Dienstman

Leon Wycliff Dienstman is a quite peculiar type of facility manager or concierge in the early middle of Toby Skybuckle's first adventure. The character's design found its inspiration a little by a film titled "Hallo Dienstmann", an Austrian black and white classic from the early 1950s.

This one was made for a specific commission. But at the close of the play the character was not chosen to "air". Even though he was really liked, he was not that good for the designated task. So I asked him to do his feat for you, here at my spot.

Thomas Deep aka The Aquanaut Mon

This is the legendary aquanaut-mon Thomas Deep and he is weary of being so fishy. So our inhouse stylist Magister Notorious Duck (he is notorious for being a collector of StarDucks merchandise) is doing a total makeover to Deep's skin by giving him a more furry look.

I'm sure I will not surprise you in saying that I did master space-bruin the same day I did Lancelot Britannica, the Younger.

Apropos uber-talented brits, this is Sir Lancelot Britannica, the Elder. He's an exquisite dragonslayer, a sore loser extraordinare and - this comes as no real surprise - part of the Toby Skybuckle character-cosmos.

Hooded Crow

Here in Austria, even the birds have a sort of corporate image awareness, or, as I should better say, a sort of corporate cliche awareness. This one for instance stops right in front of my window, every morning. Sad to say, he is resolutely not musical.

Red Bull

Last summer, we were commissioned by Red Bull to do some character designs. With the view to doing a variation on the original Red Bull logo for the use with young generation athletes (Rookie Bulls). Well, and here is the fruit.

They (RB) really liked it. In this context, I was doing a lot of different bull characters, fathoming the right look. Some of them were really just for play. As you can see with this sample:
