COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

Don't be alarmed!

The teeth are brushed, the pencils are sharpened, the whole thing can begin now. And please don't be alarmed by Donald Duck's strange appearance here, he's just happy as a wolf at the breakfast table with ten sheep visiting.

“Chirp!”

Here I wanted to try out what Donald Duck would look like as a songbird. Chirping instead of quacking, as a side effect.

By the way, I have used a different line drawing technique here, only very roughly, it is not a final clean-up drawing, but I am happy with the result. I normally prefer highly pigmented dark pencils to regular inking tools, but at the moment I am working on something that requires rich and clear black lines, my usual lines would be too sketchy for that.

I suffer from André Franquin syndrome

So, measuring my freehand Donald usually leads to the result that I end up with the elongated forms of Andre Franquin.

Facial Espresso

'Facial Espresso' (2024), Florian Satzinger.
There's not much else to say other than that I just wanted to try it out. I intentionally spilled the espresso on Donald's face, purely for effect.

Somehow wrong

A Donald Duck that deviates greatly from the usual design and features a kind of facial expression machine.
