The Future Is Here! L.A. 2013

Last November at CTN in Burbank, Blue Sky's Greg Couch and I had the luck to have our Breakfast-With-The-Pros table right next to Syd Mead's. Anyways, what I want to share is that I stumbled across this lovely Los Angeles Times Magazine cover story from April 1988 (!): 'L.A. 2013'. And guess what: "One of the ‘futurists and experts’ they spoke to for the story was the legendary Syd Mead, whose drawings accompanied the piece." (via/more on ISO50)

Art Director

My Tigobo teammate Christophe Lautrette has his grand weekend, good luck my man! Croods!

"Tomorrow is the release of The CROODS! It took more than 5 years of my Life with an Amazing crew to create that show!! Please check it out, and bring your kids and family.... They won't be disappointed !! At least i hope! Directed by Chris Sanders (Lilo and Stitch), and by Kirk the Micco. Thank you all!" (Christophe)

Big-Game Hunter

Little big-game hunter guy with supergun - this is an older character design of mine which was strongly inspired by those vintage Johnny Seven and Secret Sam toys etc. Back in 2011, I did a little posting here on my blog about my references etc.
