Analog colours

This is the analog colour test of the first Donald Dark sujet from February 2020. I like the sketchiness of coloured pencils very much, which is terrific for producing a first image of the final colour design.

The Ducks From A.C.M.E.:
The BFTR Kit 3000x

I already posted the rough layout's 2nd pass of this one here, a couple of weeks ago. Now, here's the final piece in its full clean-up glory. A.C.M.E.'s BFTR Kit (Basketball Free Throw Rocket Kit 3000x), two-seated. Billboard format 4,80 x 2,20 meters.

Visually, it's a parodic take on Chuck Jones' and Maurice Noble's 'Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner' work; and a little bit on 'The Men from U.N.C.L.E.', because of the title and the gadgets. However, content-wise, the artwork satirically covers the area of sports and obsolete ideas of winning at any cost with the aid of science without conscience.

It will be presented to the public next week, May 25th, at the ASKOE Sports Centre's Art Wall.
