The drawing shows a hot air balloon made of iron, piloted by two ducks. A giant fried egg is stuck to the outside of the balloon, which serves as the national emblem of the Duckland Air Force.

Duckstein
No, I don't have a beer sponsorship contract, even though the name of the brand might suggest it; I just have a dear friend who thought this would be the right "fuel" for me. Thanks, Martin!

The Strange Case of Donald Duck and Donald Dark
The undisputed superhero of my childhood was Donald Duck's alter ego Phantomias (that's what he's called in German-speaking countries), Paperinik in Italy (where he was invented), Duck Avenger in the USA, Superduck in the UK, etc. The gadgets, the super suit, the flying 313, the jump boots, the secret elevator in the wardrobe; I can still feel the enthusiasm I had for him as a child - I might have been six or seven at the time - for him today.
The best thing was that around 2010 I was even allowed to put my hand to this wonderful character for Disney.
Be that as it may, what I'm getting at is that years ago I had the idea of trying to create my own alter ego version of Donald Duck. Which then led to Donald Dark. The difference to Donald's other alter egos is that he is not aware of this when he changes into the Donald Dark character. Similar to Robert Louis Stevenson's "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". And what better way to illustrate the transformation than to extend it to the 313.
After Donald's car was recently transformed into the "Six Million Dollar Car", today it is transformed into the "313 Dark". And as always, guided by the idea of having to draw it in order to be able to see it.
