COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

Who is the most vulgar character on the planet?

Since Roy Lichtenstein thought that the images he was borrowing from were vulgar and that he was simply trying to make art out of non-art, I thought it would be a nice idea to ask Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck for their comments.

Pop-Art or
Snob-Art?

Roy Lichtenstein, pre-Pop works: Bugs Bunny (1958), Donald Duck (1958), Mickey Mouse (1958).

I'm still surprised by the fact that he was not approving of comic books as art. He thought that the images he was borrowing from were vulgar. He said that he was simply trying to make art out of non-art.
