COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

Facial Expression

This is just a quick stop here on the fly. I'm still taking a break, but I felt like posting: I did this warm-up piece purely on a whim sometime last year while I was working on a nice project for the fine people from Vancouver based Global Angle Productions.

And here is the usual take on the Duck Mag cover... (this very magazine btw will play quite a role in the StarDucks stories)

Update on the fly: Now, this is an unexpected pleasure - I got featured on Charley Parker's wonderful lines and colors journal:

  1. it's brilliant work as always man.

  2. Long time no seen! Lg aus New York, wirklich coole sachen weiterhin! Gibt es news von deinem comicprojekt in Frankreich oder hab ich da nur blogeinträge überlesen?

  3. Incredible, the gestures and the expressions are great

  4. vancouver ? olympic game ? the "mascotte" of the olympic russian hockey team may be ? :-))
