This motorbird will be included (as a sort of homage or take-off artwork) to a friend's special limited oversize release (A3) of his graphic novel "RIA - Seed of Hope" . The design of the motorbird is based on the novel's cat-ish main character.

Super... original. Nice work
ReplyDeletesir,
ReplyDeletei draw cartoons, with a 4B pencil i draw the gesture first, but i have found many master artists (including you) do the PENCILING with a BLUE pencil. Could You tell me the reason plz?
Great ;)
ReplyDeleteHa Ha!Great one!:O)
ReplyDeleteARI :) Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLeo, it's exactly like an analog layer system. I start with the blue pencil and then finish the line work with a regular one. Well, other artists use green or red pencils - it's totally up to your own colour taste :) I prefer blue.
Cheers Mimi! :)
Andrei! Thank you so much! How's going?
Hahaha, I think he may be slightly out of shape to handle that thing. And thanks for sharing that comic book, I'll look for it next time I go to the store !
ReplyDeleteSylvain, right, he indeed is slightly overweight :) Cheers for stopping by!
