Chuck Jones' Bulldog Mark Antony & Kitten Pussyfoot

Another day, another Jones. Two dazzlingly beautiful studio model sheets by Chuck Jones for the 1951 production of 'Feed the Kitty' (1952), showing the famous duo, bulldog Marc Antony and kitten Pussyfoot.

'Feed the Kitty' was the first of an animated short series directed by Jones using the two characters. Three cartoons focus on the dog and kitten duo, Feed the Kitty (1952), Kiss Me Cat (1953) and Cat Feud (1958). They also appear in one Claude Cat cartoon, 'Feline Frame-Up' (1954).
