Rough layout vs reference: Carl Spitzweg themed Mouseketeer Club adventure balloon ride

Every year in August, the two duck members of the local Mouseketeer Club have a jolly Carl Spitzweg themed adventure balloon ride. This year, they mounted a confetti cannon to the balloon's nacelle, for hunting paper kites in the sky.

Reference painting: Carl Spitzweg, 'Der Projektenmacher', year of origin ca. 1870-1975.

This rough layout here was one of the concept pieces I did for the Mickey - The True Original exhibition, back in 2018/2019. I didn't clean it up, finally, because I had a way too long list of pieces for the exhibition. This here didn't make it on my shortlist in the end.
