COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

Inspiration

Austrian illustrator Jos Danilowatz (1877-1945). I would say his work still has a great influence on my work... like the obvious infuence of Danilowatz on this piece (what I had posted sometime back):

  3. Inspiring still, even carries with it that sense of times. So much art today is "Modern, abstract... blah blah" just fun to look back, at the characture's and details.

  6. Flaviano, Tobias, Jon, Jake, Brian! It's my pleasure! I'm really happy that you like Danilowatz' work. I'll post more of his art in the next days... I'm in the happy position of owning a rare first edition of his book "Motor in der Karikatur" (1925).
