COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

PLEASE NOTE, the displayed parody artworks of classical cartoon characters are not copies but distinct satiric imitations/caricatures, by exaggerating and transforming the original characters and their related indica (see 'Coat of Smiles') in a way that creates new originals and new meanings, different from the intentions of the originals.

“Regard it as just as desirable to build a duck's house as to build a cathedral.”*

*Freely adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright: “Regard it as just as desirable to build a chicken house as to build a cathedral.”
(Thanks, Judy M.)

Last weekend I joined the opening of my new art show, which centers about my character caricature design and animation design satire work, at the Caricature Museum Krems.

Here are some peeks at the show's venue, taken last Saturday, a few hours before the opening. Showing, among other things, one of the central works of the show, 'Donald Duck's suburban house meets Frank Lloyd Wright'.
"But what if Carl Barks had chosen Frank Lloyd Wright or the Brutalist Architecture Movement as reference for Donald Duck's home?"
