Ars Electronica Center: Fish Tank Mangarium

I'm looking forward to March 4th 2011 at the Ars Electronica Center where my buddy Achdé (Lucky Luke) and I will drop our designs into an animated digital fish tank.

And these here were the earlier sketches, I already posted them some weeks ago. The big one with the duck was btw my favorite but he was technically too difficult to do:

Fish Tank

This March, I'll return to the Ars Electronica Center. Here are some rough prevs of something in connection with our talks and workshops there. I will tell you more about it a little later...

AEC Exhibition; The Art Center

Update (Tuesday, March 2, 2010): This is (above) my current The Art Center contribution. Inspired by a pre-Columbian sculpture (thanks to Andrea for giving me that fact) portraying an Orca i.e. Killer Whale.

Btw, Randall Sly just wrote in that within the first couple of days we had over 16,000 visitors... that's not bad, isn't it?

Currently, my ducks and bird-like critters are exhibited at one of the coolest places I've ever been: The Ars Electronica Center.

From February 25th - 27th 2010 I will giving workshops and presentations designed for theoretical and practical aspects of character design (according to custom, together with the brilliant Maryam Laura Moazedi) at the Ars Electronica Centre in Linz. Besides that, the centre will host an exhibition of my works from February 25th - March 20th 2010.

Btw, this drawing is done 100% electronically in order to meet the standard of this very location ;-) Additionally, I recorded the rough sketching process of this piece. It's a rather short clip again, I hope you'll like it.
