COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

2Q3: The Creating Dragons Formula

Update: The sketch above shows the local (in the 2Q3 story) UPS man. And a pretty unusual means of transportation.

This is an early character sample of Dr. Viggo Haidenstaadt.

  5. I love your rough drawings and what is even better, you manage to keep those roughs alive when you tidy them up. Not a lot of people can do that. Smashing work, Mr. Satzinger.

  6. Ditto here! What really knocks my shorts off (not physically) is your choice of costumes. Your style of applying clothing really gives your characters that extra spark!

  7. I completely agree with Uli. You don't lose any of the life in the drawings when you clean them up, absolutely amazing. I have noticed you posting on my writing partner Shane Lewis' blog now and again. We only hope we can get one of our projects funded so we can hire you.

We were in Budapest once together and took a day trip to Vienna - (Shane speaks German). We spent about $20 Euros each on ice cream. Loved it.

Continued success in your own work. The work has tremendous appeal.
