Update: Allow me to introduce... The King: (Through and through inspired by the same-named character in Mark Twain's original story)
And here're the legal
J. and A. Drake. Lawyers from Duck, Duck & Waterfowl.
Those two drakes are very, very loosely inspired by two real life lawyers. A former elementary school classmate of me and his associate. (Well, they, the real ones, don't look or act like ducks, of course. They just have, hopefully, a good sense of humor. At least in this case...)
Great drawings as usual, but what pencil do you use for clean up? I can see that it is a Faber Castell clutch pencil, but what hardness of lead do you use? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBomb! These guys are so crazy good. Great character design.
ReplyDeleteAndy, Derek, THANKS!
ReplyDeleteAndy, I use a Faber-Castell TK 4600, 2mm HB lead and some common Rotring, 0,5mm HB lead mechanical pencils.

Cuack!, cuack!, cuack! amazing... you put the real personality on each character..
ReplyDeleteSchön kauzig, die beiden - und mit Gimmicks, das mag ich. Man könnte sie eigentlich auch zusammen in einen Mantel mit vier Ärmeln stecken.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought they were siamese twins!
ReplyDeleteVery nice green ducks, Sir.
